How to Log In to cPanel
To begin managing your website, you first need to log in to cPanel, your hosting control panel. Logging in to cPanel is quite simple and can be done in a few different ways.
Method 1: Log in via Your Domain Name
This is the most common way to access cPanel. You can reach the login page by typing your domain name into your browser's address bar and adding /cpanel
or :2083
to the end.
http://yourdomain.com/cpanel
https://yourdomain.com:2083
(This is the preferred method for a secure connection.)
Method 2: Log in via Your Hosting Client Panel
You can also log in to cPanel with a single click from your hosting company's client panel (e.g., Wisecp). This method eliminates the need to enter your username and password.
Log in to your client panel.
Go to the "My Services" or "My Products" section.
Select your cPanel hosting service.
On the page that opens, there is usually a button that says "Log In to cPanel". Click this button to be directed straight to cPanel.
Login Information and Possible Issues
Username and Password: Your cPanel username and password are sent to you via email when you purchase your hosting service. If you lose this information, you can reset your password from your client panel or ask the support team for help.
SSL Error: If you get an SSL (HTTPS) error in your browser, you can try using port :2082
instead of :2083
at the end of your domain name. This is often a temporary security warning that you can bypass by selecting the "Advanced" or "Proceed" option to reach the login page.
Cannot Log In: If you cannot log in even though you are entering the correct information, your IP address might be blocked by the firewall. In this case, you will need to contact your hosting provider's support team.
